Description
This innovative, battery-powered remote allows for a no-wire, no-screw install and can control SoundExtreme marine radios, amplified tower speakers, and select SoundExtreme soundbars — genuinely useful when running a wire to your preferred mounting spot isn't practical, whether that's a transom, a rear seat area, or anywhere else awkward to route cable to. It includes an optional holster, letting you easily remove the remote control and use it in multiple locations in and around your boat, golf cart, or UTV rather than committing it permanently to one spot.
Depending on the connected SoundExtreme product you're paired with, this remote can control the audio and LED lights of 1 to 3 SoundExtreme products simultaneously, and up to 3 wireless audio zones — meaning a single remote can manage a genuinely multi-zone setup rather than needing a separate remote for each speaker or soundbar. Wirelessly, it controls your SoundExtreme marine radios, tower speakers, and select soundbars, including all SoundExtreme Elite, Pro, and Pulse series soundbars.
Install options are flexible: tape or screw in the remote holster to easily remove and relocate the remote as needed, or tape the remote directly to your desired permanent location if you'd rather skip the holster step entirely. From the remote, you control forward and reverse track skipping, volume, play and pause, and LED light scenes on up to 3 different SoundExtreme products. It's rated IP67 for water and dust ingress protection — genuinely submersible, though it does not float, so it's worth keeping the holster in mind if you're using it somewhere it could end up overboard. Power comes from a replaceable standard CR2032 coin cell battery at 3.0V, and pairing uses a built-in 433MHz RF transmitter that syncs with the remote control sensor in your SoundExtreme products.
