Jake’s Lift Kit by Nevil Industries

I had to wait a long time for this kit after ordering. It’s built by Nevil Industries and marketed under the name Jake’s. I will say that Matt White (the owner of Converted Carts) himself had to get involved to get my kit finally built and drop shipped from Nevil. No telling how long I would have had to wait if he hadn’t. I really appreciated that.

Now to the Kit review (I have the 2021 EZGO RXV electric model variant). The as manufactured fit and finish quality were very good with two exceptions that I had to work through because the instructions ere in my opinion vague and inadequate in these areas. The main suspension A Arm mounting bracket interferes with the front bumper lower brace/mount bracket. I had to relive the bracket to allow for bolt head clearance and source new thinner Bolts to hold the bumper support bracket in place so they didn’t rub the arm bushing tubes. It appears that Jake’s has changed the shocks in the kit to different ones from what the instruction depict. The top shock mount bracket doesn’t fit like the instructions show. they have moved to a coil over adjustable valve dampening shock (which is a great upgrade) that you have to logic your way through the assembly process.
