Yamaha's G29 and Drive carts have plenty of life left in them, and a box is one of the simplest upgrades to make them more useful.

This GTW black steel box is all-steel construction with a fold-down tailgate that closes on rattle-free rubber latches, so it stays quiet over rough ground. The inside measures 41" x 27" x 9", which is roomy enough for a full load without making the cart hard to maneuver.

Drive owners reach for a cargo box when they need to move cases of water, project supplies or a weekend's worth of gear. Because the kit comes with the model-specific brackets, you are not hunting for separate hardware, and installation is a simple bolt-on job on the rear of the cart.

On a Drive, put the heavy items on the floor of the box, close the tailgate before you move, and check the bolts after the first few trips to make sure everything stays snug. Steel is the traditional choice for a work cart. It takes a beating from tools and bags and stays rigid under weight, and a little touch-up paint will handle any scratches down the road.
