The Precedent platform is hugely popular, and the rear body sits flat and wide enough to carry a full-size box without crowding the seat.

This GTW black steel box is all-steel construction with a fold-down tailgate that closes on rattle-free rubber latches, so it stays quiet over rough ground. The inside measures 41" x 27" x 9", which is roomy enough for a full load without making the cart hard to maneuver.

Precedent owners use a box like this for fertilizer bags, firewood, camp gear and landscaping tools. Because the kit comes with the model-specific brackets, you are not hunting for separate hardware, and installation is a simple bolt-on job on the rear of the cart.

Before you load up, take a moment to measure the space behind your seat, and keep heavy items centered over the rear axle so the Precedent steers and brakes the way you expect it to. Steel is the traditional choice for a work cart. It takes a beating from tools and bags and stays rigid under weight, and a little touch-up paint will handle any scratches down the road.
