The DS has been working on courses, farms and campgrounds for decades, and its sturdy rear frame is a natural home for a cargo box.

This GTW black steel box is all-steel construction with a fold-down tailgate that closes on rattle-free rubber latches, so it stays quiet over rough ground. The inside measures 41" x 27" x 9", which is roomy enough for a full load without making the cart hard to maneuver.

DS carts are often work carts, so a box that keeps tools, fuel cans and feed sacks off the seat gets used every day. Because the kit comes with the model-specific brackets, you are not hunting for separate hardware, and installation is a simple bolt-on job on the rear of the cart.

On a DS it helps to keep the heaviest items low and toward the front of the box, and to check your rear springs from time to time if you routinely carry full loads. Steel is the traditional choice for a work cart. It takes a beating from tools and bags and stays rigid under weight, and a little touch-up paint will handle any scratches down the road.

Fitment

Fits: Club Car DS (2000-Up). The kit is built for the 2000-Up DS and fits out of the box. Older 1981-1999 DS carts will also need rear struts (Nivel #01-253) sold separately.
