Description
Battery power means the amplified speaker keeps playing even with the engine off — useful the moment you park and don't want the music to stop just because the vehicle's electrical system has. This TB8 configuration pairs one battery-powered, Bluetooth-amplified tower speaker with one passive tower speaker, giving you full stereo sound from a single amplified source rather than needing a separate amplifier wired into the system.
The ExtremeTower Series by SoundExtreme is a family of performance tower speakers designed for those who want a full, mid-bass sound and clean, detailed highs in a compact form factor, rather than the thin, tinny output that smaller marine speakers often produce. These 8-inch tower speakers come with integrated lithium-ion battery packs, meaning the party doesn't stop when your boat, cart, or vehicle is turned off — the amplified speaker runs independently on battery power for as long as the charge lasts.
When the engine is on, the boat or vehicle can optionally charge the speaker battery packs, and when it's off, each speaker keeps playing via its own built-in battery reserve, so you're never dependent on the vehicle's own electrical system staying active. SoundExtreme Tower speakers include rotatable, no-tool quick-release mounts, meaning you can take the speakers with you and keep the party going on the beach, at a campsite, or anywhere else away from the vehicle entirely — they're genuinely portable, not just battery-backed while still mounted. The battery packs themselves are also removable and include AC power chargers, so charging at home doesn't require bringing the whole speaker assembly indoors, just the battery pack itself.
