Description
Roof-mounted strips catch the eye from a distance in a way floor-level or interior strips simply can't — the elevated position means the light throws further and reads clearly even in daylight, not just after dark. Introducing our LED strips for golf car roofs, the accessory that turns a plain rooftop into a genuine visual feature instead of an afterthought.
With a full RGB spectrum, these LED strips illuminate your golf car's roof with a wide range of colors and effects — solid tones for a clean, consistent look, or dynamic modes that chase, fade, and pulse in time with music when paired with a compatible SoundExtreme controller. Designed to withstand the elements, these strips are both waterproof and UV protected, meaning they're built to handle direct sun exposure across the roofline (the part of your cart that takes the most consistent weather beating) without the color shifting or the adhesive backing failing prematurely.
Mounting runs along the underside edge of the roof canopy, where the strip is visible from below and around the cart without being directly exposed to foot traffic or accidental impact. Because these are LEDCast-compatible, they connect into the same ecosystem as SoundExtreme's other lighting products — rock lights, whips, interior strips — so a roof strip doesn't have to be a standalone purchase. Pair it with a 4-zone controller and you can run the roof independently from your interior or underglow lighting, or sync everything together for a coordinated look. For carts that get used for evening cruises, group outings, or just standing out in a crowded parking lot, roof strips are one of the highest-visibility lighting upgrades available, and this kit is built specifically for that mounting position rather than adapted from a generic strip.
